Chief of the Laboratory of Enzymology of the D.I. Ivanovsky Research Institute of Virology of RAMS; born in 1939; Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor, corresponding member of RANS, a corresponding member of RAMS; a major virology scientist, a specialist in fundamental and applied virology, engaged in study of constitution and functioning of genomes of virus RNA content; Head of the Virology Section and a member of Presidium of the Laboratory Board of the RF State Sanitary and Epidemiological Supervision Service, a scientific supervisor of sections of the AIDS program of RAMS; a laureate of the Prize of the Council of Ministers of the USSR; an author of 200+ research papers and an inventor.
