Marina Vladimirovna Mezentseva

Mezenceva Marina Vladimirovna Mezentseva, Doctor of Biological Sciences, Chief of the Tissue Culture Laboratory.

In 1984, she graduated from the Moscow Institute of Food Production Technologies, trained as the Process Engineer of Microbiological Production. After graduation from the institute, from 1984, she worked for the D.I. Ivanovsky Research Institute of Virology of the USSR Academy of Medical Sciences at the Laboratory of Viruses Ontogenesis as a Research Technician, then — at the All-Union Cardiological Scientific Center of AMS of USSR as a Junior Research Fellow of the Laboratory of Cellular Immunology. From 1989, she worked at the Laboratory of Interferonogenesis, Interferon Department, N.F. Gamaleya Research Institute of Epidemiology and Microbiology of RAMS. From 2008 to 2012, she headed the Laboratory of Latent Infection Microbiology of FSBI N.F. Gamaleya Research Institute of Epidemiology and Microbiology of the Russian Ministry of Health. Since 2012, she has worked for the D.I. Ivanovsky Institute of Virology. Since 2013, she has been the Chief of the Tissue Culture Laboratory.
