kostina Lyudmila Vladimirovna Kostina, Cand. Sc. Biology, Senior Researcher at the Laboratory of Applied Virology and Biotechnology.

She graduated from the Veterinary and Biology Faculty of the FSI HVE K.I. Skryabin Moscow State Academy of Veterinary Medicine and Biotechnology.

She has completed the pre-graduation and graduate internship at the Applied Virology and Biotechnology Laboratory of the D.I. Ivanovsky Research Institute of Virology of RAMS. She completed a degree thesis on the topic: “Creation of Monoclonal Antibodies Specific to the Nucleoprotein of the Avian Influenza A Virus and Formation of a Test System on Their Base to Indicate Such Antibodies in the Fowl Blood Serum”.

She has worked for the Institute since 2004. In 2008, she defended a thesis for a Candidate Degree in Biology on the topic: “Epitope Mapping of Surface Glycoprotein Е2 of the Classical Swine Fever Virus”. Major – Virology.

Research interests: immunochemistry, hybridoma technology, molecular biology, reverse genetics of influenza viruses.
