Konstantin Sergeevich Kochergin-Nikitsky

Konstantin Sergeevich Kochergin-Nikitsky was born on December 28, 1981 in Moscow. In 1999, he entered in the Moscow State University of Applied Biotechnology, which he graduated from in 2004 , qualified as the Veterinarian in the field of Veterinary. In 2004, he was enrolled with the full-time post-graduate training program of the D.I. Ivanovsky Research Institute of Virology RAMS. In 2006, he completed upgrade training courses at the State Educational Institution of Higher Vocational Education Moscow Medical Academy named after I.M. Sechenov of the National Health Service in the Virology certification cycle. In 2007, he defended a candidate’s thesis (Research Advisor — Professor N.V. Kaverin) on the topic: “Analysis of Genes Interaction during Crossing of H5 Low Pathogenic Avian Influenza Virus and Highly Productive Human Influenza Strain” with award of the degree of Candidate of Biological Sciences. In 2007, he was assigned to the position of the Research Scientist at the Virus Physiology Laboratory. Currently, he works in the position of Senior Researcher. He has 13 publications in foreign and Russian scientific journals.
