Svyatoslav Georgievich Cheshik

Lead Researcher of the Laboratory for Epidemiology, Prevention and Diagnostics of Viral Hepatitis.

He graduated from the Minsk State medical Institute in 1953, majoring in General Medicine.

Since 1958 he has been a fellow of the D.I. Ivanovsky Research Institute of Virology of RAMS (postgraduate student, Junior Research Fellow, Head of Clinical Department).

From 1988 to 2008, he headed the Department of Clinical Virology and Virus Hepatitis.

He is an author of approximately 300 research publications.

Svyatoslav Georgievich Cheshik is an honored doctor of the Russian Federation.
